Invitation to Serve on The Board of Road Safety Partnership South Africa (GRSPSA)

Road Safety Partnership South Africa (GRSPSA), a registered Section 21 company, was established in 2007 to foster partnerships among government, businesses, and civil society to reduce road-related deaths and injuries in South Africa.

 

As part of the Global Road Safety Partnership based in Geneva, GRSPSA unites organisations dedicated to addressing South Africa’s road safety challenges. Together, these members, including government agencies, road safety experts, engineering firms, NGOs, and corporations, pool their resources and expertise to implement sustainable, life-saving interventions.

 

We have the pleasure of inviting experienced professionals and industry experts to join our Board of Directors and contribute to shaping a safer future for South African road users. This role provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact and connect with a global network committed to road safety.

 

Board Role Overview

 

As a board member, you will:

• Be part of a team that assists with providing governance, oversight, and strategic direction to GRSPSA.

• Be requested to engage in high-level decision-making to ensure effective sustainability of GRSPSA.

• Help build partnerships and broaden our impact within communities and at the policy level.

• Play an active role in fundraising efforts and mobilising key stakeholders to support the mission, growth, and long-term sustainability of GRSPSA.

 

Position Details

 

This is a volunteer role designed for industry experts and leaders in the public and private sectors, as well as professionals in other fields who can contribute meaningfully to GRSPSA. By joining, you’ll be affiliated with a respected international network dedicated to advancing road safety.
