Julian holds a B. Comm Degree and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which have provided a strong foundation for his expertise in legal, regulatory, and compliance matters within the motor industry.

He is deeply involved in shaping automotive standards and road safety initiatives, contributing to various technical committees focused on roadworthiness, road safety and other key automotive regulations at the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) and the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) amongst other key organisations within the motor industry.

Julian’s passion for improving road safety and the overall motor industry is evident through his extensive involvement in a wide array of initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, compliance, and the standards governing South Africa’s roadworthiness framework. His leadership and commitment to the sector have earned him recognition as a key figure in the country’s aftermarket motor industry.
